Das Event-Format nennt sich "BarCamp". Ein BarCamp ist eine Ad-Hoc-Zusammenkunft entstanden aus dem Wunsch, in einer offenen Umgebung zu lernen und Wissen zu teilen. Es ist ein intensiver Event mit Diskussionen, Workshops und Vorträgen. Es gibt üblicherweise keine Zuhörer, nur Teilnehmer.
